Executive Commercial (Import/Export Industry)
Designation: Executive Commercial.
Job Description:
As an Executive Commercial in the Import/Export industry, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and managing commercial activities related to international trade. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at optimizing efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering profitable business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Trade Documentation Management:
- Oversee the preparation, verification, and processing of import/export documentation including invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations and standards.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for incoming and outgoing shipments, including negotiating freight rates, selecting carriers, and arranging for customs clearance.
- Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and minimize transit delays.
Supplier and Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
- Negotiate terms of trade agreements, contracts, and pricing to maximize profitability and mitigate risks.
Customs Compliance:
- Stay updated on changes in import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade policies.
- Liaise with customs authorities to ensure compliance with customs laws and regulations, including tariff classification, valuation, and duty drawback.
Financial Administration:
- Monitor commercial transactions, invoices, and payments to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize revenue streams.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with international trade operations, such as currency fluctuations, geopolitical instability, and supply chain disruptions.
- Implement strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the company’s interests.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities.
- Develop strategic plans to expand market presence and enhance competitiveness in target markets.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, marketing, procurement, and finance to align commercial activities with organizational objectives and priorities.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated business solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven 5+ years of experience in commercial operations, import/export management, or international trade logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems) and familiarity with trade compliance software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Salary:
The salary ranges from $500, contingent upon the interview performance and level of experience.
