Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to transport goods or passengers safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle, planning routes, and adhering to traffic laws. You must have a clean driving record and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods or passengers to specified locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes, using GPS and traffic updates.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, or trip records.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers or passengers.
- Communicate with dispatchers and managers as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- 1+ years of driving experience.
- Ability to use GPS navigation systems efficiently.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy goods (if applicable).
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.
