Position Title: Company Driver

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide safe, reliable, and professional driving services to the Company’s Chinese Executive, ensuring timely transportation, vehicle safety, and confidentiality at all times.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the Company’s Chinese Executive safely to and from office, meetings, airport, and other official assignments.
Ensure strict adherence to road safety rules and traffic laws at all times.
Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, roadworthy, and presentable condition.
Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights).
Report mechanical issues promptly and ensure timely servicing and repairs.
Maintain vehicle logbooks accurately.
Support administrative errands as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and respectful conduct at all times.
Be flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Be flexible and available to drive other company staff or visitors when directed by management, in support of operational needs.

Education Level:
- Minimum of Form IV Certificate (O-Level) or equivalent, in accordance with driver employment standards in Tanzania.
Driving License:
- Valid Class C or E Tanzanian Driving License.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ proven driving experience, preferably as an executive or company driver.
Age Requirement:
- Between 28 – 35 years.
Language Skills:
- Basic English communication skills required.
- Ability to communicate politely with foreign nationals is an added advantage.
Personal Attributes:
- High level of discipline, honesty, and confidentiality.
- Good time management and defensive driving skills.
- Familiarity with Dar es Salaam routes and surroundings.
