Job Description

Position: Human Resources Assistant (x1)
Job Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Industry: Accounting & Auditing
Gender: Female

Key responsibilities:
– Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, orientation, employee records, training, engagement and grievance handling.
– Implement HR policies, maintain HR databases and filing systems, prepare HR documents, and support statutory compliance with agencies (NSSF, WCF, immigration, labour).
– Act as a link between management and staff, provide frontline support on HR policies, manage inquiries, and help maintain a positive, inclusive workplace.
– Handle work/residence permits, manage expatriate needs (housing, transportation), oversee medical cover, and support benefits enrollment.
– Collect attendance data, manage payroll processes and coordinate with payroll vendors as needed.

What you need:
– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource or a related field.
– Holding of (or working towards) an accredited professional qualification will be an
added advantage.
– Prior administrative or HR experience is a plus.
– Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with HRIS systems preferred.
– Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

– Contract period: 1 year (Renewable)

Working Days/Hours:⏱
Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Gross Salary: TZS 700,000/- – TZS 1,200,000/-
