Job Description

About role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Teachers to join our team, dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in an early childhood education setting, with a strong passion for nurturing the growth and development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Planning & Delivery: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and learning experiences that foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children in the nursery setting.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment where children feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
  • Individualized Attention: Provide personalized learning support to children based on their developmental needs, ensuring that each child’s abilities and interests are taken into account.
  • Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess the development and progress of children, maintaining accurate records of observations and milestones. Use this information to inform and adjust teaching strategies.
  • Collaboration with Parents: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and caregivers. Regularly update them on their child’s progress and involve them in their child’s learning and development.
  • Child Protection & Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery by adhering to safeguarding and health & safety policies. Respond promptly and appropriately to any child welfare concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, staff, and management to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery and the achievement of educational goals.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay updated with the latest early childhood education practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Nursery or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience

Working Days/Hours:

Monday to Friday: 07:30 AM – 02:00 PM
