About the Role:
The Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of heavy equipment, including construction equipment, mining equipment and farm equipment. This role involves working with various types of heavy-duty equipment, such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, tractors, and more. The specialist will engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and establish long-term relationships to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and professional customer service.
- Negotiate prices, prepare proposals, and draft contracts.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of product specifications, features, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of sales experience in heavy equipment.
- Ability to speak basic English for communication with clients and colleagues.
- Proven track record in selling heavy equipment.
